Food Holiday: National Ice Cream Soda Day

When I think of ice cream sodas, my first thoughts go to a root beer float.  Then my next thoughts go to my grandparents’ home, where I remember occasionally having floats in fruit flavors like orange & grape.  I also remember going out and getting an ice cream soda once when I was a kid and the server told me I could choose any flavor ice cream & any flavor soda.  I chose 7Up with vanilla and boy was I disappointed…give me some flavor!
