Did you know that virtually every day is a food holiday? How awesome would it be to celebrate each of those days with it’s own special food?! Alas, for me that is a bit impractical.
Today is International Pancake Day and this week is Pancake Week. As easy as it would be to make pancakes today, it didn’t happen this morning and there are other plans for dinner tonight. So, in celebration of Pancake Day, I’m sharing some of my favorite Pinterest finds. Enjoy! Oh – and if you want a great syrup recipe to go with your pancakes, check out our post on Buttermilk Syrup – yum!
(If you haven’t joined Pinterest yet, you can still enjoy these links. Just click on the link for each picture. It will take you to the pin. Then click on the image again to go to the original source for the recipe, etc.)
Can anyone tell me where this quote is from?

ReplyDeleteLovely blog! I always love cooking blogs, it's kind of like window shopping! I'm not very adventurous when it comes to pancakes, but I think even I will try some of those cutie patootie shaped pancakes--the kids will die with delight!
ReplyDeleteHave a great rest of the week!

DeleteI love love love pancakes. Ate them every single day when I was pregnant - one of the few things I could eat. I still make them a few times a week with my daughter.

YIPPEE!!! I had no idea that Tuesday was pancake day, but we had just gotten home from a quick and long three day road trip. The only thing that sounded good was pancakes! So we had amazing oatmeal pancakes for dinner!!!! :) I actually celebrated a food on its special day.
ReplyDeleteAdding this post to my pinterest. Lots of yumminess to share!!!
Look how amazingly in tune you are - celebrating without even knowing it was the perfect day for pancakes!
